Quetta Bombing A Plan to Destabilize Pakistan

On Thursday, a bombing took place in Quetta\’s Serena Hotel. The horrific incident killed five people and wounded a dozen. Sheikh Rashid, the Interior Minister called it a terror attack. He stated that it was a turn aim to \’disrupt peace in Pakistan\’.

Bomb Details

Furthermore, while speaking to the media, he said that his statement will answer the questions of international media that were raised on the Quetta blast. He said \”the attacker was a suicide bomber and used C4 explosives, weighing between 60 to 70 kilograms. The suicide attacker stayed in the car which has been sent for forensic analysis.\” DIG Azhar Ikram said that the car bomb was used in the bombing and it also martyred a policeman.

He further said that the 6 injured are in hospital but unfortunately, two or three are in a dire situation.

Plot Against the Nation

Additionally, he said that the bombing is a sign that the enemies of Pakistan cannot tolerate the growing prosperity and development of Pakistan that has been achieved by the current PTI Government. He said that enemy forces were plotting acts of terrorism in Pakistan\’s major cities as a result of the country\’s success and economic growth under Prime Minister Imran Khan\’s leadership. Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the incident in a tweet, calling it a \”cowardly terrorist attack\”.

Subsequently, as reported, the police took over at least 13 security points of Quetta. It was then when the devastating incident took place. The investigation isn\’t complete yet. He has already directed the provincial chief secretary regarding it. Mr Khan said that Gwadar and Baluchistan are very important for Pakistan’s development.

Chinese Officials

The Interior minister informed that the ambassador is in Baluchistan. As reported he and he is safe. Further saying that the attack has not affected the relationship between Pakistan and China and that it is still strong. On Thursday, the foreign office condemned the terrorist attack. Such events, they said, would not prevent Pakistan from achieving stability and combating terrorism.

According to the foreign office spokesman, the Chinese officials are secure. Further, the Chinese embassy has not yet received any injury reports. Beijing retaliated by condemning the attack and pledging assistance to Pakistan.

Praise to the Nation

Lastly, Sheikh Rashid mentioned that the interior ministry had ordered all 22 security-related agencies. This includes the FC, Rangers, and Coastal Guards.

He praised the nation and said that the country had made sacrifices to achieve the current state of stability. The armed forces have been crucial in fighting the enemy, who seems to be regrouping in neighbouring countries.
