Embassy of Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates Chargé d’ affaires Thakshila Arnolda and Consul General of Sri Lanka to Dubai and the Northern Emirates Alexi Gunasekera, called on Dubai Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mohammad Lootah and Vice President – International Relations Sector Salem Al Shamsi on 23 January to discuss enhancing trade ties between Sri Lanka and the UAE.
A cordial discussion ensued on exploring potential investment opportunities for UAE investors in Sri Lanka and potential for joint exhibitions, conferences and events with an emphasis on facilitating the establishment of Sri Lankan businesses in Dubai and vice versa.
