Authorities have caught a French national arriving in Pakistan from India with a large quantity of drugs.
According to an Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) spokesperson, nationwide operations against drug trafficking are ongoing. As part of this effort, ANF conducted an operation at Islamabad International Airport, recovering a significant quantity of drugs from the suspect.
The suspect had travelled from India to Islamabad and was en route to Sri Lanka via Muscat. Upon inspection, 1.58 kilograms of hashish were discovered in the suspect’s luggage.
The French national, who had entered Pakistan on a visit visa from India, was attempting to smuggle the drugs by concealing them in chocolate packaging.
Authorities have registered a case against the suspect under the Anti-Narcotics Act and initiated an investigation.

Brazilian Woman Caught Smuggling Cocaine
A month ago ANF foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine into Pakistan at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
Authorities arrested a Brazilian woman arriving on a flight from Brazil for smuggling 1.396 kilograms of cocaine concealed in her undergarments.
ANF officials conducted a search on the woman after she appeared suspicious during passenger clearance.
During the search, authorities discovered the cocaine hidden in a plastic pouch inside her undergarments.
Family Tragedy
Earlier a young man addicted to “ice” brutally killed his father, brother, and niece with a dagger.
The suspect severely injured his sister-in-law and two young nieces, and authorities immediately rushed them to the hospital for treatment.
Hospital sources stated that two injured individuals remain in critical condition, leaving the family overwhelmed with shock and grief.
Police identified the arrested suspect as Faizan, a drug addict recently released from jail. Authorities revealed that he had previously injured one of his brothers in a shooting incident.
